CENTRE UPDATE – UPPER CAR PARK LINE MARKING

To our Holmview Central community,

We’ll start refreshing the line marking across the upper car park on Monday 28 September.

The works will be completed after hours, starting from around 7:30pm–8pm each evening, depending on how busy the Centre is, and continuing for approximately 8 hours. This has been scheduled for the evening to help minimise disruption to our customers and retailers.

There’s no perfect time to undertake a project like this, but our team will be working closely with the contractor to keep things moving as efficiently as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

What to expect:

🚧 Day 1 & Day 2: Pressure washing will commence, with Area 1 completed first, followed by Area 2.

🚧 Day 3–5: Both areas will be allowed to dry and prepared for the next stage.

🚧 Day 6: Existing markings will be ground down in Area 2 only.

🚧 Day 7: Both areas will be cleaned ahead of the new line markings being painted.

🚧 Day 8 & Day 9: Final drying and preparation for both areas.

🚧 Day 10 & Day 11: Area 1 will be painted and allowed to cure.

🚧 Day 12 & Day 13: Area 2 will be painted and allowed to cure.

🚧 Day 14: Final inspection, touch-ups and reopening.

🅿️ Parking: Areas will be completed in stages to maintain access to the Centre, with each section reopened as soon as it is suitable for traffic.

🚶 Pedestrian Access: Footpaths will remain open throughout.

🚗 Traffic: Please follow all traffic management directions and signage.

⚠️ Safety: Temporary fencing will be in place in affected areas, so please drive carefully and follow all safety signage.
